ACTIVITY REPORT AND CASH FLOW REPORT
FOR THE QUARTER ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2026
Highlights:
NMSC Trial Progression to Ph II: All patient treatments were completed with recruitment
closed in Ph I trial; preliminary data from 14 patient readouts showed no adverse events
related to treatment, no dose‑limiting toxicities, and a 79% disease control rate,
supporting progression to Phase II.
Strengthened Board & Clinical Leadership: Paul Field joins as Independent Non-
Executive Director, adding deep global biopharma partnering and commercialisation
experience, following the earlier appointment of Dr Colin Hopper as Clinical Advisor
and global Key Opinion Leader in Photodynamic Therapy.
Major Multi‑Year Funding: Invion entered two complementary financing arrangements
expected to cover up to ~85% of current and future clinical development costs,
including the NMSC and upcoming anogenital cancer trials.
New Immuno‑Oncology Collaboration: Invion initiated a preclinical partnership with
Percheron Therapeutics to evaluate Photosoft™ in combination with its
immunotherapy, building on prior Peter Mac data showing ~80% tumour control when
Photosoft was paired with another type of immune checkpoint inhibitor.
MELBOURNE (AUSTRALIA) 29 October 2026: Invion Limited (ASX: IVX) (“Invion” or the
“Company”) wishes to provide the following update and Appendix 4C for the quarter ended
30 September 2026 (1QFY26).
Summary of cash position and expenditure during the quarter
The Company held cash reserves at the end of the quarter of $512K (4QFY26: $592K) and
recorded a positive net Operating Cashflow of $18K in the period after receiving $545K in
research and development (R&D) tax incentives.
Invion’s key cash outflows under Operating Activities in the quarter were R&D costs of $338K
(4QFY26: $380K) and administration and corporate costs of $189K (4QFY26: $244K).
As detailed in Item 6.1 of the accompanying Appendix 4C, the Company discloses that the
aggregate payments to related parties and their associates during the quarter totalled $41K.
The related party payments were made to Vistra Australia for Directors’ fees and CFO and
company secretarial fees during the quarter.
Key developments
Invion has strengthened its Board and leadership team as it continues the development of the
Photosoft™ platform technology in cancer and other diseases. During the quarter, it
appointed Mr Paul Field as an Independent Non-Executive Director following the retirement of
Mr Alistair Bennallack.
Mr Field brings more than 30 years of experience in the global biopharmaceutical industry,
across commercialisation, investment and strategic partnering of new drug candidates and
therapeutic programs.
His expertise and experience enhance Invion’s governance, partnering capability and
strategic readiness as the Company advances Photosoft toward later-stage clinical
development.

The appointment follows Dr Colin Hopper joining Invion’s advisory panel. Dr Hopper is the
President of the International Photodynamic Association and a globally recognised Key
Opinion Leader in photodynamic therapy.
Post-Quarter Events
Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer Trial Developments
Following the end of the quarter, Invion successfully completed patient treatments and
closed patient recruitment for the Phase I Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer (NMSC) trial. While the
results for the trial will be finalised only after the 12-month patient follow-up and independent
audit, the Company believes the preliminary findings from treated patients are sufficient to
meet primary safety endpoints and have demonstrated encouraging efficacy signals.
The preliminary data from 14 patient readouts demonstrated a strong safety profile,
consistent with previously announced results, with no adverse events and dose-limiting
toxicities related to the treatment.
The data, which was reviewed by the Safety Review Committee (SRC), also found a 79%
positive disease control response rate, including one complete response. These results
support Invion’s decision to advance the NMSC study to a Phase II trial.
Funding Arrangements Covering 85% of Clinical Costs
Meanwhile, Invion announced earlier this month that it had secured two complementary
multi-year financing arrangements, which are expected to cover up to approximately 85% of
its current and future clinical development programs.
These programs include the NMSC trial mentioned above and the upcoming anogenital
cancer clinical trials.
New Collaboration Partnership
Invion entered into a preclinical research collaboration with Percheron Therapeutics Limited
(ASX: PER) to evaluate its clinical-stage anti-VISTA monoclonal antibody HMBD-002, a novel
immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI), in combination with Photosoft.
The study will look at how Photosoft-initiated tumour destruction may create an environment
where an immune-directed therapy could generate additional anti-tumour activity.
Previous in vivo studies by the Peter MaCallum Cancer Centre found Photosoft, in
combination with another type of ICI (anti-PD-1), resulted in ~80% control of anal squamous
cell carcinoma compared to ~12% with a standalone ICI.
Invion’s Exec Chair and CEO, Prof Thian Chew, said:
“The September quarter has strengthened our ability to execute on the significant
opportunity ahead of us. The completion of the Phase 1 NMSC trial is a major step
toward unlocking the potential of the Photosoft platform technology, which is
showing promise across multiple indications clinically.
“With the addition of Paul Field to the Board, continued guidance from Dr Colin
Hopper, our new partnership in the immunotherapy space and multi-year funding
arrangements, we are now positioned to accelerate development and broaden the
impact of the Photosoft platform.”
